Qualifications

• BLS training required.

Responsibilities

• Prescribes, delegates, and coordinates nursing care using the nursing process.
• Provides leadership by collaborating with ancillary departments and the patient care team.
• Participates in Quality Improvement and patient/family teaching and discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, and evaluates nursing care; leads unit-level decision making.
• Administers medications with knowledge of action, dosing, and contraindications.
