Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care to patients, participate in interdisciplinary rounds, and contribute to patient education and record maintenance.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; BSN preferred.
Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing.
Certified in Basic Life Support; additional certifications may be required by unit.

Responsibilities

Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients according to nursing skills inventory and patient needs.
Coordinates nursing care planning with an interdisciplinary team and makes clinical decisions.
Directs or delegates tasks to the healthcare team to achieve positive patient outcomes.
Coordinates treatment plans; develops/implements discharge or transfer plans.
Participates in program evaluation and process improvement for client-centered outcomes.
Addresses diverse patient needs across the continuum of care with quality service.
Adheres to regulatory and Texas Board of Nursing standards; supports professional growth.
