Job summary

AdventHealth in Greenwood Village, Colorado, is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse with 2+ years of ICU experience. The role requires RN licensure and BLS certification, with ADN required and BSN preferred.

You will provide comprehensive nursing care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in performance improvement activities. The position offers full-time hours, day shift, and a comprehensive benefits package from day one, including health, retirement, and parental leave

Qualifications

• 2+ years ICU experience
• RN license required
• BLS certification required
• ASN required, BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and maintain clear documentation.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed and participate in performance improvement activities.
• Respond to code situations promptly and provide necessary interventions.
