Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks an experienced RN - ICU in Chicago, IL for full-time, 36 hours/week. Day shift 7:00 am–7:30 pm with every other weekend. Eligible candidates must have at least 1 year of staff nurse experience, Illinois RN licensure, and CPR. ACLS within 3 months; PALS/NRP may be required depending on unit.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of staff nurse experience.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Illinois nursing licensure.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• PALS/NRP may be required within six months depending on unit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care for individuals and families.
• Maintain competency aligned with current standards of practice.
• Supervise and guide nursing staff as needed.
• Incorporate ethical principles in nursing practice and promote evidence-based care.
• Ensure patient and staff safety and timely thorough documentation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
