Job summary

The Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain, CT seeks a Registered Nurse for the 24-hour Day shift in the Critical Care Unit. You will provide evidence-based care, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support complex patient needs.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Associate’s degree in Nursing.
Successful completion of nurse residency, if applicable.
One year of experience with a minimum of 1000 hours of clinical experience as a licensed registered nurse.
IV/line placement required. ACLS certified.
1 - 3 yr CCU experience required/med-surgical experience

Responsibilities

Develop a plan of care for complex patient populations.
Deliver evidence-based nursing care under nursing leadership.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet patient needs.
Support patient and family education and psychosocial needs.
