Job summary

Marymount Hospital in Garfield Heights, OH is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our ICU. This part-time day-shift role provides direct patient care to high-acuity adults and supports families.

You will implement and monitor patient care plans, monitor and document patients’ conditions, and carry out physician and nursing orders. You will also assess discharge needs and educate patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN).
• One year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting; military RN considered.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). BLS required; ACLS within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
