Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required for Cardiac Rehab.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, positive responses to the needs of patients, families, co-workers, and physicians.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized, coordinated, and comprehensive care plans.
• Regularly assess and record vital signs to monitor patient status.
• Gather and document patients' medical history, symptoms, and current health status.
• Systematically assess patients for care needs, changes in condition, behavior, or response to treatment.
• Administer and record medications according to provider orders and protocols.
• Independently administer nursing care and apply both simple and complex techniques for patient needs.
• Delegate care per Massachusetts Nurse Practice Act and hospital guidelines.
• Maintain accurate patient records and nursing plans of care.
