Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking skilled Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurses to provide critical care in Alabama's network. Our ICU teams deliver complex care in a specialized environment with a low nurse-to-patient ratio.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Meets mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Baptist Health/Orlando Health and unit/department.
• Maintains current Alabama RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Delivers expert care for high-acuity patients with complex assessments.
• Operates and interprets advanced monitoring equipment (ICP, CVP, PA pressures, cardiac monitors, ventilators).
• Develops, updates, and evaluates individualized care plans.
• Documents assessments, treatments, and education per regulatory standards.
• Serves as a preceptor, charge nurse, educator or clinical resource as needed.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support unit function.
