Zusammenfassung

St. Francis Medical Center is seeking an ICU RN to monitor critically ill patients after injury, surgery, or life-threatening disease. You’ll take reports, follow the care plan, and provide continuous patient care on a shift basis.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians with procedures, managing equipment and alarms, and acting as patient advocate. Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus and up to $10,000 educational assistance are offered to eligible new hires.

Qualifikationen

• Must be a graduate of a nursing program.
• Hold a Nebraska RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS to be completed within five months of hire.
• PALS to be completed within five months of hire.

• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care while ensuring patient comfort.
• Anticipate and respond to informational and emotional needs of patients and families.
• Guide and direct healthcare personnel in caring for patients.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment setup and use; monitor alarms when necessary.
• Initiate emergency support measures.
• Assist with patient care duties/tasks.
