Job summary

International SOS Government Medical Services is seeking a highly skilled ICU nurse to provide advanced critical care for government personnel stationed in Iraq under a structured international program.

You will work with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, manage ventilators and monitors, document care in EMR, and support patients and families throughout treatment. The assignment is full-time and up to 12 months, with housing and meals provided.

Qualifications

• ACEN or CCNE-accredited nursing program graduate with an ADN/BSN/MSN or DNP.
• Current RN license in the U.S. (state/territory/DC).
• 3+ years ICU/critical care experience, with 6 months in last year.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident with MRPT clearance; valid passport with 18+ months.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and treat critically ill patients in an ICU setting.
• Administer medications and IV therapies per physician orders.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to implement plans.
• Operate ICU equipment like ventilators and monitors.
• Document assessments and progress in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families, promoting patient-centered care.
