Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a registered nurse to join the ICU team in Sheboygan County. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week, a 1845-0715 shift pattern, and a pay range of $38.20–$57.30 per hour, with comprehensive benefits.

You will engage in patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with the care team, maintain documentation, and pursue ongoing professional development while ensuring patient safety and ethical practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications may be needed based on specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care, engaging patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, updates care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation; may float to other units as needed.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely per clinical protocols.
• Demonstrates effective communication, teamwork, and appropriate delegation.
