Job summary
AdventHealth in Kissimmee, Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our patient‑centered care team. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.
This full‑time role requires an RN license and a valid BLS cert, with opportunities for professional development within a faith‑based system that values Whole Person Well‑being and family‑centered care.
Qualifications
- Associate's of Nursing required.
- Bachelor's of Nursing preferred.
- RN license required; BLS certification required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patient factors.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments per orders and protocols.
- Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure teamwork.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care activities and outcomes.
- Respond to code situations and ensure patient safety.
