Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital in St. Johnsbury, VT seeks an ICU Registered Nurse to deliver high-acuity, patient-centered care in our four-bed ICU, including monitoring, ventilator support, and hemodynamics management.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved RN program.
• Current Vermont RN license or multi-state compact license.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• Critical care course completed within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-acuity critical care, monitor cardiac status and hemodynamics, manage ventilators, administer meds, and respond to emergencies.
• Promote clinical safety and best practices; document in EMR; maintain ICU equipment safety; support infection prevention and quality initiatives.
• Support patient and family education from admission to discharge; assist with discharge planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team; mentor new staff; participate in meetings and cross-training.
