Job summary

Highmark Health's Allegheny Health Network seeks a registered nurse to provide direct patient care per established policies and standards. The role centers on applying the nursing process to plan and coordinate care for diverse patient populations in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in PA or eligible via eNLC.
• Current CPR certification (American Heart Association).
• Clear background checks as required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan and coordinate patient care for age-appropriate populations.
• Initiates and revises interdisciplinary care plans based on assessments and orders.
• Completes comprehensive patient documentation per policies and regulations.
• Provides ongoing teaching to patients and families across the continuum of care.
• Supports development of students and new staff; may serve as a preceptor.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
