JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinates nursing care based on clinical standards in medical-surgical services. Collaborates with other disciplines to ensure effective patient care and outcomes. Acts as a Resource nurse when oriented and directed. Supports the organization's vision and mission. Incorporates patient's age, developmental status, spiritual and cultural diversity into care. Contributes to quality improvement with positive patient outcomes.

Education, Experience, and Certifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing school. Valid California RN license. Proficient in oral and written communication. Demonstrates leadership, teamwork, professionalism, and quality improvement skills. Maintains BCLS, ACLS (AHA), Basic Dysrhythmia, NIHS Stroke certifications upon hire and ongoing. Fluent in English.
