Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center is seeking a Seasonal RN Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit. The position runs for 13 weeks, primarily days (7a-7p). You will provide safe, competent nursing care aligned with facility policies and the Patient Centered Care philosophy.

Leadership and teamwork are essential in this role. Requirements include an accredited RN program graduate, Florida or Compact license, BLS current at hire, and 2 years acute care experience (3 years if part-time).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current BLS at time of hire.
• Current Florida or Compact Nursing License.
• 2 years full-time or 3 years part-time experience in acute care setting.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS/CPI required per unit within stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care per facility policies and standards.
• Demonstrate clinical leadership and support to healthcare team.
• Maintain Service Excellence standards at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
