GHR Healthcare in Plainsboro, NJ seeks an ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week local contract. This on-site assignment requires a strong critical care RN with ICU experience and a commitment to patient-centered care.

The role is night-shift, 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week, with every-other weekend and holiday; NJ RN license or compact eligibility and BSN are required. BLS/ACLS may be required per facility standards. Competitive pay and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required.
• Active NJ RN license or compact state eligibility.
• BSN degree is required.
• Strong critical care, bedside assessment, and monitoring skills.
• Ability to work night shifts with every-other weekend and holiday.
• BLS and ACLS may be required per facility standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor patient condition and respond quickly to status changes.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and nursing standards.
• Collaborate with care teams to implement individualized care plans.
• Operate and monitor critical care equipment safely.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes thoroughly.
• Support patients and families with clear communication and compassion.
