Performs critical care nursing procedures in the Intensive Care Unit as directed by clinical faculty and instructs senior veterinary students in technical and manipulative skills relating to ICU/Critical Care.

Required Qualifications

Licensed or Licensed eligible in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Veterinary Technician (LVT); Working knowledge of basic nursing skills; ability to place intravenous catheters; ability to understand instructions; excellent communications and interpersonal skills; rabies prophylaxis will be required (provided by employer).
