Job summary

Saint Luke's Hospital in Texas is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care on assigned units under minimal supervision. You will assess patients, plan and deliver nursing care, and ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires a Texas RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, BLS on hire, and completion of ACLS, PALS, NRP, and STABLE within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Texas State RN license is required.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) required on hire; BLS within 60 days if not on hire.
• ACLS within 60 days of hire or transfer (Adult Critical Care, Telemetry, ICU).
• PALS within 60 days of hire or transfer (Pediatric ICU).
• NRP within 60 days of hire or transfer (NICU).
• STABLE for NICU Level 2 must be completed within 6 months (renewal not required).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for a group of patients under minimal supervision.
• Complete established competencies within introductory period.
• Perform duties as assigned and support patient safety and quality of care.
