Job summary

Gateway Regional Medical Center is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the ICU on night shifts (7p-7a). You will deliver comprehensive patient care in a high-acuity setting, collaborating with an experienced team to ensure optimal outcomes for critically ill patients.

This role offers flexible scheduling and competitive compensation. Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited nursing program with an Illinois RN license, BLS, and CPI willingness within 1 month of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Illinois RN license.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross); ACLS preferred.
• Willingness to complete Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) training within 1 month of hire.
• Previous experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.

Gateway Regional Medical Center is looking for a part-time Registered Nurse to join our ICU team on nights. You'll provide critical, hands-on care to our most acute patients, working closely with a skilled team that values clinical excellence and collaboration - all on a schedule that offers more flexibility than full-time.

This is a great fit for a nurse who wants meaningful critical care experience without a full-time commitment, or who's looking to build ICU skills alongside another role.
