Job summary

CareRev is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for per diem shifts in Milwaukee, WI. Clinicians must be local to the city or surrounding areas to qualify for this flexible role, with pay up to $75/hr.

You will deliver high-acuity care to critically ill patients, monitor complex conditions, and manage ventilators and advanced equipment while coordinating with intensivists and care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing with state nursing board.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications; NIHSS may be required prior to first shift.
• Minimum 1 year ICU RN experience (within the last year).
• Strong critical thinking, planning, coordination, evaluation and delegation of skilled patient care.
• Competency with ventilators, chest tubes, and proning.
• Experience with intubation, central/arterial line placement; CRRT/ECMO a plus.

Requirements

• Current RN license and good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications. NIHSS certification may be required prior to the first shift.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an ICU RN required (most recent experience within the last year).
• Strong critical thinking skills as well as the ability to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate the delivery of skilled patient care.
• Must show competency with managing ventilators, chest tubes, and proning patients.
• Strong familiarity with assisting during intubation, central and arterial line placement, and para/thoracentesis.
• Experience with Covid ICU protocols, CRRT and/or ECMO are a plus.
