Prime Healthcare’s ICU RN position at Pampa Regional Medical Center in Pampa, TX is a per diem role. The ICU RN will provide high-level critical care, monitor patients, and collaborate with the medical team to adjust care plans.

This role requires valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, and critical care experience; BSN preferred. Per diem schedule offers variable hours and opportunities to support the ICU team.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital; critical care preferred.
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality care to critically ill patients by developing care plans and implementing complex nursing interventions.
• Use advanced equipment like cardiac monitors, pulse oximeters, blood pressure monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, and capnography devices to track vitals.
• Safely administer medications, intravenous fluids, and blood products with precise dosing and timing.
• Manage life-support devices such as ventilators and dialysis machines.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients' families, acting as a liaison to ensure they understand the care being provided.
• Document all aspects of patient care and maintain infection control and safety protocols.
