Baptist Nassau is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts. New hires are eligible for a $3,750 sign-on bonus. Ideal candidates hold ASN in nursing, with preference for BA/BS and 1–2 years of hospital and cardiac telemetry experience.

You will provide comprehensive ICU care, educate patients and families, advocate for patients, and collaborate with physicians and other departments to coordinate care.

Qualifikationen

• Education/Degree required: ASN in nursing.
• BA/BS preferred for advancement.
• Experience: 1-2 years in hospital settings.
• Cardiac experience preferred with telemetry.
• Telemetry experience is advantageous.
• General hospital experience required.

Aufgaben

• Provides for patient needs using the nursing process and coordinates care.
• Includes patients and families in creating an individualized plan of care.
• Educates patients and families about disease and plan of care.
• Acts as patient advocate for high-acuity patients.
• Provide care for medical or surgical conditions as needed.
• Uphold hospital mission and interact with physicians and departments.
• Coordinate care with ancillary services and participate in unit activities.
