Job summary

Lifepoint Health’s Southern Tennessee Regional Health System - Pulaski seeks a dedicated ICU RN to provide high-acuity patient care in a 3x12 night schedule with rotating weekends. The role includes a $10,000 sign-on for eligible applicants and a strong team culture focused on professional growth.

Requirements include Tennessee RN license, an associate’s degree in nursing, and BLS/ACL S/PALS/NRP within set timelines. Relocation licensure updates may be needed.

Qualifications

• Active Tennessee license (single-state or compact) and an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Relocation requires licensure updated to new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, HWC, Basic Arrhythmia course within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to ICU patients using the nursing process.
• Performs plan of care including medication administration and treatments.
• Documents patient care provided and monitors patient status.
• Communicates patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Coordinates care with colleagues for transfers, discharges, and psychosocial needs.
• Educates patients and families about conditions and care.
• Advocates for patient physical and emotional well-being.
