Job summary

Advocate Health’s CVICU 7T in Milwaukee is seeking a registered nurse to join a high-acuity ICU caring for post-surgical patients. This full-time position is 36 hours per week with nights (1900-0730) and self scheduling, including 50% of holidays and every third weekend rotation.

You will provide and coordinate patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in line with established standards, policies, and procedures, while helping create the best patient experience

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
