Job summary

Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU on a part-time, per diem night shift (7:00 pm–7:30 am). You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, and collaborate with the health care team to ensure safe discharge planning and rounds.

Required: BSN, PA RN license, and BLS; ACLS may be required depending on unit. Trinity Health offers a mission-driven culture and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BSN or BS/BA in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current RN Pennsylvania state license.
• BLS certification; ACLS required or orientation depending on area.
• Previous acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides total, comprehensive care to patients by applying the nursing process.
• Communicates plan of care and changes in patient condition to the team.
• Completes admission using a multi-system assessment approach.
• Documents assessments and outcomes per policy; interprets clinical data.
• Performs thorough nursing assessment and ongoing reassessment.
• Participates in discharge planning and multidisciplinary rounds.
• Assists patient/family with grieving and end-of-life care as appropriate.

Education

BSN or BS/BA in Nursing

Current RN Pennsylvania license

BLS; ACLS required
