Job summary

Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital in Ellsworth, Maine is seeking a Registered Nurse I in the Intensive Care Unit for full-time night shift (6:45 PM–7:15 AM), 36 hours per week. The compensation range listed reflects wages and sign-on bonuses: $10,000 for new graduates and $15,000 for RNs with 2+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• RN is required; Maine licensure required.
• Associate's Degree required; additional education may be required.
• Must obtain ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and effective patient care by using best practices during hand off communication and when reporting patient care information and appropriately asks for assistance from other staff.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills in location, operation, and care of equipment.
