Job summary

North Vista Hospital, a 177-bed state-of-the-art facility in North Las Vegas, NV, seeks a Registered Nurse for night shift. You will deliver safe patient care in the ICU, collaborate with physicians and nursing staff, and lead patient/family education while maintaining strict privacy and confidentiality.

Required RN license, BLS and ACLS upon hire with renewal. Critical care experience and CC RN certification preferred; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital; critical care preferred.
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care within the ICU scope of practice.
• Direct and guide patient/family education and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition and test results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
