Job summary

Silver Cross is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU in New Lenox, IL. The role requires night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, delivering skilled nursing care in a high-acuity setting.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Illinois or eligible for licensure under the Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychosocial, cultural, nutritional, and functional needs.
• Plan and implement a care plan with nursing interventions tailored to the patient age group.
• Assess educational needs of patient/families and provide teaching.
• Document nursing care in the medical record.
• Delegate and supervise CNAs and other staff as assigned.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to privacy standards.
