Job summary

Hemet Global Medical Center in Victor Valley, CA, seeks a Staff RN for ICU to provide round-the-clock critical care nursing during night shifts. The RN assesses, plans, delegates and coordinates care for ICU patients, ensuring safety, quality and patient education throughout the stay.

California RN license with BLS is required; ACLS within 90 days, PALS preferred. BSN preferred; minimum one year ICU experience recommended.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a critical care area preferred.
• Current California RN license and BLS certification required; ACLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, delegate, implement, evaluate and coordinate ICU nursing care.
• Educate individual patients and their families on health needs.
• Maintain effective communication with patient, family, supervisor, physician and team.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
