Qualifications

• Licensure & Certification: RN license in applicable state; BLS (AHA) required
• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Experience: Typically 1+ year of clinical nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs using the nursing process, plan and implement individualized interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
• Anticipate and recognize changes in patient condition; adjust care plans and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and outcomes and tailor education as needed.
• Coordinate discharge planning using an interdisciplinary approach and ensure smooth transitions of care.
• Evaluate outcomes and participate in quality improvement initiatives and shared governance.
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork; delegate appropriately within the care team.
• Promote a culture of safety by identifying risks and reporting safety events.
• Apply ethical decision-making and foster an inclusive, patient-centered care environment.
• Support professional development through education, mentorship, and required competencies.
