The RN will deliver care using the nursing process, educate patients and families, and communicate with the health care team. Maryland RN licensure and BLS are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure by Maryland State Board or Compact State.
• BLS certification; additional life support training as unit requires.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage care using the nursing process for routine patients and educate patients/families.
• Effectively communicate patient/family information to the health care team.
