Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Topeka, KS is seeking a day shift, full-time ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. You will coordinate safe patient care, assess needs, set goals, and continually revise the plan of care to meet diverse patient needs.

Requirements include an Associate’s degree in nursing and current Kansas RN licensure; BLS within 14 days; ACLS for Tele/ICU/PCU; oncology certification post-surgery; and completion of all certifications within the first year.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in nursing required.
Current Kansas RN Licensure required.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Tele, ICU, and PCU require ACLS.
Post-surgery requires oncology certification.
All required certifications must be completed within the first year of employment.

Responsibilities

Coordinate safe patient care delivery for specified and diverse patient populations.
Assess patient/family needs, develop and prioritize goals, evaluate care delivery, and revise the plan of care to meet diverse needs.
Delegate care as appropriate to optimize patient outcomes.
Adhere to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
