Job summary

SageWest Health Care in Lander, WY seeks an experienced RN to join its ICU team. The ICU RN provides direct and indirect patient care for critically ill adults, monitors hemodynamics, administers meds, and collaborates with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Requires ADN with RN licensure in Wyoming or a compact state, BLS and ACLS within policy; BSN preferred. Six months ICU or acute care experience encouraged; expected to educate patients and families and participate in

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required per policy.
• PALS certification preferred; De-escalation training required.
• Minimum six months of experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct/indirect patient care in ICU with hemodynamic monitoring.
• Administer medications, monitor for adverse effects, respond to events.
• Perform head-to-toe and pain assessments and reassessments.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and staff.
• Educate patients/families on treatment and discharge instructions.
• Participate in code/rapid response and emergencies.
• Assist with invasive procedures (central/arterial lines).
• Document care accurately in the EMR.
