Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in our TriCities Hospital. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional clinical outcomes and a compassionate patient experience.

The role requires an active Virginia RN license (or compact), with BLS due within 30 days and ACLS within 6 months of start. BSN is preferred to support nursing excellence and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
• Current RN Virginia license or a multistate compact license.
• Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team.
• Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record promptly and accurately.
• Teaches patients and families about condition, status, treatment plan, medications and follow-up.
• Translates complex medical terminology for patient understanding.
• Contributes to evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives.
