Job summary

Vitruvian Health is seeking an Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care for critically ill patients with complex medical, surgical, and cardiac conditions in our Tennessee service area.

The role requires RN licensure in Tennessee or a compact state, BLS and ACLS, and a willingness to obtain ACLS within 30 days of hire. ICU experience is preferred, with proficiency in ventilators and critical care equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing evidenced by verification of state licensure.
• Two years of experience in a hospital or medical environment is preferred; ICU experience preferred.
• Current Tennessee or Compact State RN licensure required; BLS and ACLS required; ACLS within 30 days if not certified on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor and assess critically ill patients; manage medications and ventilators per protocol.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Operate and manage advanced medical equipment (ventilators, CRRT, arterial lines, CV lines, chest tubes).
