Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license current in state.
• BLS and ACLS required; ACLS within 90 days.
• ICU experience preferred; minimum 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver direct and indirect critical patient care using the nursing process (Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation).
• Develops and coordinates nursing care plans with patients, families and interdisciplinary staff.
• Communicates changes in patient condition with physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager and teammates.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure safe transitions.
