Garden Grove Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide safe, high-quality care in the ICU. You will use the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, guiding patient/family teaching and coordinating with other nurses.

The role requires an active RN license in California, BLS and ACLS certifications, and ICU/critical care experience. Private patient information must be protected and confidentiality maintained.

Competenze

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital; critical care preferred.
• CCRN Certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Mansioni

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Direct patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU.
• Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, diagnostic results and symptoms.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
