Medical City Dallas is seeking a Medical ICU Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity team. You will perform procedures and monitoring as ordered, document care in the medical record, and educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and follow-up steps.

You will also guide patients on lifestyle changes, contribute to process improvements, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, individualized care. A nursing degree and active RN license are required.

Qualifikationen

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN (Registered Nurse)licensure required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.

• Performs procedures and monitoring as ordered by the medical provider; documents care in the patient record promptly.
• Educates patients, families and caregivers about conditions, treatments, medications and follow-up.
• Educates on non-medicinal follow-up measures, healthy lifestyle and self-management.
• Promotes evidence-based practices and process improvement to meet quality measures.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to coordinate and deliver holistic patient care.
