Methodist Hospital Texsan in San Antonio, TX, seeks a Registered Nurse for the 30-bed Cardiovascular ICU to deliver high-quality, efficient care. You will apply nursing processes, collaborate with the care team, and support leadership with education and competency development.

This role offers comprehensive orientation, mentorship, leadership programs, and access to advanced technology. Eligible candidates hold Texas RN license and BLS, with 6 months ICU exposure; certification can be pursued

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or bachelor’s degree registered nursing program.
• Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse
• One (1) year of critical care experience as a licensed Registered Nurse preferred
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Texas license required within 90 days of hire)
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Methodist Hospital | Texsan to ensure we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. About the Unit:

• 30 bed medical/surgical ICU specializing in cardiovascular surgical care
• Patient to Nurse ratio 2:1
• Nationally recognized Beacon Award winning unit for Nursing Excellence

• Proficiency training for specialty equipment
• Experienced charge nurses and unit leadership

What You Will Do In Your Role:

• You will consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients.

What qualifications you will need:
