Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced advanced clinical practitioner to join the 8-bed ICU/pulmonary clinic team. The role supports inpatient and outpatient care with a shift-based model, primarily 8-hour days, plus 12-hour weekends every 8 weeks and occasional holidays.

Board-certified ACNP or PA with NC licensure is required. Responsibilities include admission notes, rounding, management of complex patients, and collaboration with critical care physicians.

Qualifications

• Board-certified ACNP or PA; NC licensure required.
• Experience in ICU/Pulmonology as an ACP preferred.
• Current prescriptive privileges and DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient admission management for hemodynamically complex patients.
• Outpatient follow-up for chronic lung disease and new patients.
• Daily rounding, notes, and billing documentation.
• Interpretation of invasive line data and mechanical ventilation management.
