Job Summary

Work as a part of a critical care team comprised of an Intensivist Physician and NP/PA providers in an 18-bed combined medical/surgical ICU, located at Boston Medical Center - South in Brockton, MA.

Schedule:

3 - 12 hour shifts, no call. Day/Night rotation 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am.

Responsibilities:

• Assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of critically ill patients, including communication with specialty consultants, patients, and families.
• Daily progress note documentation.
• Billing.
• Ventilator management.
• Laboratory interpretation.
• Performing procedures such as central line placement, PICC lines, and A-lines.
• Responding to 'Rapid Response' and 'Code Blue' emergencies.

Qualifications:

• MA Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License.
• Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
• 2 years of experience strongly preferred.
