Job summary

Kettering Health Network in Dayton, OH seeks an ICU Clinical Pharmacist to join a multidisciplinary team in the ICU, contributing to pharmacotherapy, medication safety, and patient care optimization.

You will perform order verification, manage complex regimens, teach pharmacy learners, and participate in rounds and hospital committees. This role requires PGY1 residency, EM/CC experience, and Ohio pharmacist licensure with a strong focus on interprofessional collaboration.

Qualifications

• ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency required.
• BPS certification with EM/CC experience.
• Pharmacist license in Ohio.
• Experience in Emergency Medicine or Critical Care.
• Willingness to precept students.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacotherapy services in the Intensive Care Units.
• Review prescribed therapies and monitor for optimization.
• Respond to drug information questions and teaching needs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and committee activities.
• Precept pharmacy students and residents on rotation.
• Lead ICU-related educational sessions for learners.
• Support medication safety and workflow improvements.
