Job summary

Hartford HealthCare's Hartford Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Associate to join the patient care team. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will perform delegated tasks to support patient care, comfort, safety and needs within regulatory standards.

This role requires BLS CPR certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferred training such as Medical Assistant, EMT, or CNA. Previous patient care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• BLS - CPR Certification - American Heart Association - required prior to start date.
• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Training such as Medical Assistant program, EMT certification, CNA - preferred.
• Previous patient care experience, preferably in a medical office, hospital or acute-care setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs delegated patient care tasks under RN supervision.
• Reports to Unit Manager.
