Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking a Patient Technician to deliver individualized, goal-directed care using the nursing process in a high-acuity setting. The role requires nursing licensure (SC or compact) and a Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred, with BSN progression for RN hires as per policy.

Qualifications

• Minimum training: Bachelor of Nursing preferred; RN licensed in SC or compact state.
• BSN enrollment required within two years for RN hired with Associate/Diploma.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Lead assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
