Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech for the ICU on a PRN night shift (7p–7a). You will work with licensed staff to deliver direct patient care and assist with daily living activities, promoting patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, prior hospital experience, and a current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross; Nursing Assistant or PCT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience caring for patients in a hospital setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Certification must be from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of licensed clinical staff.
• Assist patients with bathing, feeding and activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with licensed nursing staff to promote healing and wellness.
