Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech for a part-time day shift (7a-7p) with weekend and holiday availability. A $1,250 sign-on bonus is available.

The role supports patient care by assisting with activities of daily living and working closely with licensed nursing staff to promote healing and wellness. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, and prior hospital experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience caring for patients in a hospital setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Certification must be from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced environment to promote healing and support wellness.
• Collaborate with licensed nursing staff to provide direct care to a diverse patient population.
• Provide key aspects of patient care including helping patients with bathing, feeding and other activities of daily living.
