Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to patients with ADLs and ongoing monitoring.
• Organizes work to complete daily assignments within timeframes.
• Competently performs defined skills to meet patient needs/outcomes.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment by following safety and infection control policies.
• Assists with environment and equipment use per unit and hospital policy.
• Uses and charges for supplies accurately.
• Delivers therapeutic interventions under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Provides transport services by bed, stretcher, or wheelchair within the hospital.
