Job Summary
The anticipated duration of this temporary assignment is approximately 5 months. Please note: this will require 4 days per week on site at Parnassus campus; one day of remote work each week.
The Operations Coordinator provides a variety of operational support pertaining to strategy development, growth, and administrative initiatives within Adult Critical Care.
Oversees ICU administrative projects, supports strategic planning and quality improvement initiatives, and ensures accurate documentation and follow-up from meetings.
Serves as the primary administrative support to the ICU Medical Director.
Creates and maintains digital assets and file structures, implements systems for documenting ICU workflows, reviews and approves access permissions, and ensures secure, efficient use of digital resources.
Develops and distributes business communications, maintains accurate distribution and contact lists, and ensures alignment with communication standards.
Builds collaborative relationships across ICU functions, drives cross-functional alignment, supports process improvements, and trains team members to maintain operational continuity.
Plans and coordinates community-building events, faculty development programs, educational workshops, and divisional meetings to support ICU engagement initiatives.
Assists with resident call schedules, stays informed about scheduling processes for backup support, and coordinates faculty professional development, including CME and visiting scholar logistics.
