Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Nursing Technician to support the care team in the Intensive Care Unit 3W at Gerber Hospital. Under the supervision of an RN or Provider, you will perform basic nursing tasks, observe patients, and relay findings to the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS (AHA) certification with 90 days validity required.
• BLS (ARC) certification with 90 days validity required.

Responsibilities

• Collects and reports patients' physiological, psychological, sociocultural and spiritual needs with RN guidance.
• Ensures documentation is accurate and timely.
• Provides direct patient care under RN/Provider direction.
• Contributes to development of an individualized plan of care.
• Maintains patient privacy and communicates observations to the health team.
